I'm finding so much creativity and fun in the events I do for Revel.
Location: LA (originally from Washington, DC)
In 2016, I started a group on Meet-Up called Finding Female Friends Past Fifty, which the NY Times featured in 2019. I closed FFF>F to come to Revel in 2021, where I'm now Head of Special Projects.
I am a perpetual French language learner, and always have art projects to engage with. But, I'm finding so much creativity and fun in the events I do for Revel, that I often find myself 'working' on my days off.
Watching Revel continue to grow, engaging with the new Woolfer addition to our family, and getting together with friends IRL.
I'm sleeping the best I ever have!
Almost anything written in French, to keep in practice. And, recently, my subscription to 'Stack' which sends monthly independent zines to my door from around the world —very arty, cutting edge, and sometimes subversive.
'The Best Comedians of 2021.' (My Seriously Saturday Night at the Movies events need a break from serious.)
Eating more carbs and sugar than I should.
No secrets left. I've capitalized on all my talents by now...I'm 74, after all.
I'd like to create something around being childless by choice. Also something on the subject of body acceptance which I learned, while hosting a series called Big Talk, is still a big issue, even into our 50's and beyond.
