How She Revels: Olivia Wu

I seem to find fun in everything that I do, and I see that as a gift.

I believe everyone is doing the best they can with what they’ve got so I try not to dwell on what could have, should have, would have been.

Age: 47

Location: Irvine, CA

What do you do for work?

I do marketing and branding. My company Innergrated Media helps businesses and individuals establish a powerful public presence and better connect with their customers. I’m also a certified meditation teacher and run a wellness blog community called Soulove. We talk about mental health, personal empowerment, meditation techniques, and overall positive thinking.

What’s your Superpower?

Not sure which would qualify as a Superpower but I have been told that I am incredibly in tune with what I am doing and what is going on around me. Because of that, I have developed great instincts for good decision-making and creative-thinking; Also, I seem to find fun in everything that I do, and I see that as a gift.

What’s the last great book you’ve read?

I am currently reading Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza, and it is amazing.

Last Google search?

I searched “what does the prohibitory symbol mean on Macs” after a blank screen appeared on my iMac with a prohibitory symbol on it telling me to contact Apple Support. It was jarring.

Any big regrets?

Nothing I can think of. I believe everyone is doing the best they can with what they’ve got so I try not to dwell on what could have, should have, would have been.

What are you most looking forward to in 2022?

Building my own business(es) — I left my full time job at an ad agency last year to pursue an independent path. My desire is to make a more direct impact in helping others succeed, and make more of my skill-sets available to others.

What keeps you up at night?

I tend to overthink/analyze, so thoughts running through my mind can keep me up at night; Or, sometimes, when inspiration strikes and I just have to write it all out.
